Ben Freeman

Ben has 30 years of strategic finance and commercial experience. He trained at KPMG and has then worked within both venture capital backed smaller businesses and more recently as a divisional Finance Director at Prudential. He has extensive experience of property as well as complex operational and entrepreneurial businesses.
Ben's core strength is to combine his commercial outlook and analytical skills with a holistic and people centred approach that can work outside of the finance silo to achieve buy in from both stakeholders and the team.
Ben uses his strategic financial skills to help people to understand the present, which can often be used as a catalyst for debate, engagement and change. He then seeks to understand the vision, enthusiasm and spirit of an organisation to engage and achieve long-term change.
This combination of skills has led to a focus on using strategic scorecards that capture the soft and hard measures within a business and can be a core part of the ongoing strategy.
