Stephen has over 25 years experience in the professional and financial services industry, embracing client consulting, business development, marketing, service development and sales channel engagement.

Stephen joined Gracechurch Consulting from Mercer, the global provider of HR consulting, outsourcing and investment services. As a European Partner at Mercer, most recently Stephen was responsible for facilitating the development of service propositions and related marketing, sales and internal engagement strategies for the firm’s largest UK business line. Prior to that, he led a group in the firm’s client development and marketing function overseeing market research, client insight, proposition development, and a range of key CRM and sales processes.

Key challenges currently facing businesses include how to retain their clients in a competitive environment, how best to develop their relationships with them, and how to target new clients successfully. As an Associate with Gracechurch, Stephen draws on his wide-ranging practical experience to help organisations address these challenges by:

  • gaining insights that improve their understanding of their target markets
  • putting the right resources and structure in place to develop robust, market-relevant and compelling propositions and
  • developing the optimum approach to taking their offerings to market in a timely and effective manner.
